Grassroots Empowerment Network
Our mission is to improve delivery of support for Health and Wellbeing by grassroots organisations that use a person-centred approach.
We are coming together to support each other and have a bigger voice, having slowly been silenced over the past few years.
We can also organise action- specific projects to reach goals (e.g. petitions, awareness, fundraising).
We focus on:

Take Off
We provide peer support groups in Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Thanet and Shepway. We're also the User Voice- people can anonymously give feedback about using services.
Julie Rogers Counselling
Julie offers a range of therapeutic sessions for individuals including Living in the Moment Workshop, and affordable Healing sessions. Julie specialises in bereavement and loss.
Dover Big Local
Dover Big Local has a Community Hub providing support, training, and networking opportunities, that help residents access services, develop plans to improve their area.
Micky T's Wellbeing & Fitness
Micky has developed a school scheme which helps young children and teenagers with their wellbeing, focusing on a set of mental health core values alongside fitness activities.
Speak Up CIC
As an organisation our work is supported, informed, developed and delivered by people who have a real understanding of what it is like to live with mental distress.
Strength 2 Strength
I am a trained Independent domestic abuse adviser and I'm running courses, workshops and 1 to 1s. I work with men, women and children in Kent.
Bridge of Harmony
Bridging cultures and empowering lives, Bridge of Harmony is a transformative social enterprise promoting cultural integration and fostering self-sufficiency for individuals, enabling them to build a better future from the ground up.
The Sage Network
We are two Occupational Therapists who facilitate community garden groups focusing on health, well being, connection, learning and growth for all members of the communities they are within.
