Data Protection and Your Rights

Take Off CIO is committed to protecting your personal information and processing it in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.


We only collect and use information that is necessary to provide our services, monitor outcomes, meet funding requirements, safeguard individuals where required, and improve the support we offer. We will only share information where we have a lawful basis to do so or where we are required by law.


You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you (Subject Access Request).

  • Request correction of any information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Request deletion of your personal information where there is no legal reason for us to continue processing it.

  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

  • Object to the processing of your personal information where applicable.

  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent as our lawful basis for processing.

  • Request that your information is provided to you in a portable electronic format where applicable.

Requests will be responded to without undue delay and normally within one calendar month in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

If you remain dissatisfied after contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Media consent (Form 2 of 2)

I give my consent for Take Off CIO to take and use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, quotes and case studies that include me for the purposes of promoting the charity and its activities. This will always be done with your knowledge.


I understand that these may be used in:

  • Take Off's website

  • Social media channels

  • Printed publicity materials, leaflets and posters

  • Funding applications and reports

  • Press releases and other promotional materials


I understand that:

  • My consent is voluntary and I am under no obligation to agree.

  • I may withdraw my consent at any time by contacting Take Off's Data Administrator.

  • Withdrawal of consent will apply to future use of my image or information. Whilst Take Off will stop using my media where reasonably possible, it may not be possible to remove material that has already been printed, published or shared by third parties.

  • My decision to give or withhold consent will not affect the support or services I receive from Take Off.
