Our Mission
To promote a healthy lifestyle and support recovery from mental illness by providing an environment grounded in empathy, community and shared lived experience. We aim to support people to build resilience, enhance their confidence and contribute positively to an inclusive community, while challenging stigma and promoting an understanding of mental ill-health.

Take Off (charity number 1191902) has been a User Voice provider and delivered peer support groups since 1998 (previously under Canterbury and Faversham Forum, then Canterbury and District Mental Health Forum, then Take Off charity number 1069836). The name changes were made to broaden the areas where we could work, to expand into other areas of East Kent to support more communities in need.
