I’m pleased to let you know that Canterbury City Council is once again accepting applications to the Household Support Fund.

 

The Household Support Fund is a scheme funded by the government to help low-income households with essential costs such as food, energy bills, and essential items (e.g., clothing and hygiene products).

 

Canterbury City Council is offering the following grants to eligible households who successfully apply:

 

  • £100 for single people or couples with no children

  • £150 for single people or couples with children

  • £200 for state pension age people

 

To apply for a grant, you must:

 

  • Live in the Canterbury district and be aged 16 or over,

  • Have a total household income of £40,000 or less,

  • Have no more than £500 in savings and not have access to any other money to support your situation

 

Applications are open until 28th February 2025, or until all the funding has been granted.
